GEOSPATIAL & SATELLITE SYSTEMS

OneeGISPowers the Sakhejung map

Spatial intelligence connected to your business records.

OneeGIS is Oneewaee’s geospatial system for connecting places, imagery and operational records. Its live Sakhejung Tea implementation brings mapped garden boundaries, a searchable grower and plot register, satellite imagery, canopy observations and 3D exploration into a customer-branded interface. We adapt the spatial data model and interaction to each organization’s available records and intended use.

PRODUCT FEATURES

What you can do with the system.

Explore the features of OneeGIS and the work they help you do.

01

Satellite imagery

The live map offers imagery options including Esri and Mapbox. Users can inspect the landscape while keeping the source and available capture information in view.

  • Switchable imagery sources
  • Pan and zoom estate exploration
  • Imagery source information
  • Scale and zoom context
02

Mapped plots and boundaries

Mapped geometry connects the landscape to the estate's plot records. Boundaries provide spatial context for the register and the places a user selects.

  • Plot boundaries and spatial layers
  • Estate-wide navigation
  • Selected-plot context
  • Area and plot record information
03

Searchable estate register

A map becomes more useful when users can start from a record as well as a location. The register supports search by farmer name, plot code or village.

  • Name, code and village search
  • Village-based grouping
  • Plot area and register details
  • Record-led spatial exploration
04

Canopy and observation layers

The public interface includes a canopy layer with Sentinel-2 observation context. The date attached to a layer helps users understand what the observation represents.

  • Canopy layer visibility
  • Available observation-date information
  • Latest-pass navigation controls
  • Layer context distinct from the basemap
05

3D and place views

The landscape can be explored in a 3D view, with controls for boundaries and places. Different views help a user understand the estate's terrain and distribution.

  • 3D view controls
  • Place and boundary visibility
  • Whole-estate navigation
  • Map cursor and location context
06

Public customer experience

The system is deployed on Sakhejung's own domain and linked to its company site. The map is a working customer interface rather than a presentation-only visualization.

  • Customer-branded web deployment
  • Responsive spatial interface
  • Connection to the producer's public site
  • Visible system attribution to Oneewaee

BEHIND THE INTERFACE

How the system works.

01

Spatial data and a business register

Geographic features and plot records must remain connected as the user switches between search, selection and map navigation. The interface needs to preserve that relationship across its views.

02

Imagery and observations have different dates

A basemap and an observation layer do not necessarily describe the same moment. Source labels and available observation dates are part of making the spatial interface understandable.

03

Interactive rendering at useful scale

The deployed interface uses MapLibre-based map rendering. Geometry, overlays, register controls and camera movement must work together without forcing the browser to render an entire estate as ordinary page elements.

04

A system suited to its purpose

Estate exploration and sourcing context are different from a certified cadastral survey. A deployment should clearly define its data sources, update process and intended operational use.

FROM SETUP TO EVERYDAY USE

Getting started with your team.

01

Prepare records and geometry

Connect plot identifiers, register data and the spatial layers needed to explain the estate.

02

Build the interaction model

Design how users search, select plots, navigate imagery and inspect relevant overlays and context.

03

Publish and maintain the view

Deploy the customer-branded system and keep records, geometry and observation information aligned with the available data.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Availability and important details.

  • The live map's records and observations can change. Check the current register and displayed observation dates for the latest available information.
  • Basemap imagery may not publish a capture date. Observation layers should be interpreted using their own source and date information.
  • The company-site screenshot hides the farmer register; the original public map is available through the customer link.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Common questions.

Is this a live Oneewaee implementation?

Yes. Sakhejung Tea’s satellite garden map is a live implementation powered by OneeGIS and developed by Oneewaee. Explore it at maps.sakhejungtea.com.

Can you build a similar system for another organization?

We can scope a geospatial application around your records, geometry, imagery sources and operational needs. Data availability and intended use shape the implementation.

Does a map replace a legal boundary survey?

No. An interactive estate map and a certified legal or cadastral survey serve different purposes. Discuss any regulatory or surveying requirements with the qualified provider responsible for them.
